Samsung has started rolling out the stable One UI 9 update for the Galaxy A34 in South Korea. The release brings a redesigned Quick Panel, updated system visuals, privacy improvements, and the October 2026 security patch. The new firmware carries version A346NKSUFGZJ8, with a download size of approximately 2,954.69MB (2.95GB). The security patch is dated October 5, 2026.
One UI 9 introduces several interface changes, including a refreshed Quick Panel, an updated Warranty and Care section, and a new Privacy Indicator. Samsung has also refreshed various icons and other visual elements across the interface.
However, the Galaxy A34 will miss several newer Galaxy AI features, including My Fancam, Call Brief, Now Brief, Now Nudge, and Creative Studio. These advanced tools will remain unavailable on this device.
The update is currently limited to the South Korean model, SM-A346N, while availability for international variants, including India, is yet to be confirmed.
The Galaxy A34 launched with Android 13 and was promised four major Android upgrades. This makes One UI 9, based on Android 17, its fourth and final major Android upgrade. Any possible One UI 9.5 release would be a subsequent version, not another major Android upgrade.
Users can check for the update under Settings > Software update > Download and install.
